I am not a very good writer, but I know I want to communicate with people, and I know that articles are the quickest way to do it, and build traffic for my web sites. Most of the traffic that visits my sites comes from the many articles Ive forced myself to write and post at various article directories. I am amazed how many of my articles have been picked up by various content sites and Blogs. Just goes to prove that people are starved for content.

The process is simple. Write about something related to your site and then submit it to an article directory. Make sure to write about a topic and not make your article a big sale pitch, and do not include any links, page breaks or excessive html in your article. You can put a link to your web site authors resource section. Be mindful of the directories policies.

People all over the world will publish your article and your link at the bottom will direct readers to your site. This is the fastest, cheapest and easiest way to build traffic. The bonus is all these links get picked up by the major search engines and after a few months you start getting traffic from search engines as well.

Ive written hundred of articles on a number of topics. I usually write 2 to 4 articles per week and post them at various sites. At last check I have thousand of back links from these articles to my various sites. This builds affiliate income, and advertising income. There are hundreds of article directories around, some better than others. Do your research, write a few articles and youll see your success blossom.
